The Peter Pan Children's Fund encourages philanthropy by children, young adults, and adults in support of children's hospitals/organizations worldwide and associated programs for children that focus on illness and injury prevention, family centered care, research and rehabilitation.
In 1929, playwright and novelist Sir James Barrie gifted the Peter Pan copyright to the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital (GOSH) in London. Since then, the boy who would not grow up has become a cultural phenomenon and one of the world's greatest philanthropists.
Meet Maya Coneh, one of our 2013 Second Star to the Right awardees!
The Peter Pan Children's Fund embodies the same spirit as Barrie's gift by using his creation to teach children the power of helping others. This legacy reminds us of the limitless possibilities of children's imaginations and hearts.
We are now on facebook! Please spread the word and join our group. We hope young philanthropists will post their birthday celebration pics on our face book page (also the young at heart) and raise the awareness about supporting children's hospitals/organizations the Peter Pan Way.
The Peter Pan Children's Fund wishes to thank The William Pitt Foundation for their generous support.
